Education, facilitation and workshops

I believe that education is most powerful when it is inclusive, participatory, and creative. I bring together artists, disabled and non-disabled participants, and communities to explore ideas, craft skills, and amplify voices that are often overlooked in mainstream education. I create a safe space where curiosity, creativity, and lived experience can intersect, to nurture confidence, creativity, and connection.

Public Workshops at Babesment (2023–2025)

I ran a series of art + disability themed workshops at Babesment, a queer arts club in London, offering inclusive, participatory learning for all levels. Each session was designed to celebrate creativity, challenge assumptions, and foster community.

Workshop Series: “Access + Expression”

• Creative Futures: Art & Identity — Explore how identity shapes creative expression through painting, collage, and digital media. Participants are encouraged to experiment with visual storytelling that reflects their lived experience.

• Sensory Lab: Making Accessible Art — A hands-on workshop where attendees explore multi-sensory approaches to art-making, including tactile, auditory, and movement-based techniques.

• Disability & Performance: Storytelling Beyond Words — Using drama, movement, and improvisation, participants create performances that challenge conventional narratives about disability.

• Collaborative Canvas: Community Mural Project — Join fellow participants in designing and producing a collaborative mural that celebrates diversity, accessibility, and shared creativity.

• Art & Advocacy: Creative Campaigning — Learn how art can be a tool for advocacy, exploring visual, digital, and performance approaches to amplify disability rights and representation.

• Tech + Touch: Accessible Digital Art — Experiment with accessible digital tools, from touchscreen apps to adaptive devices, to create artworks that everyone can engage with.

• Reflect & Respond: Art Critique for All — A guided session where participants share work, explore critique methods, and reflect on accessibility in contemporary art practices.

Outcomes

These workshops embody the philosophy of learning through doing, sharing, and reflecting. Participants leave with:

  • Practical skills in creative and accessible art-making

  • Greater confidence in self-expression and collaboration

  • New insights into inclusive practice in arts and education

  • Connections with peers and a supportive, diverse community
